An Essay competition on the topic “My Vote, My Future” was conducted on 4th March 2024 at Wangkhao Government College. The essay competition is part of the campaign of “Mera Pehla Vote Mere Desh Ke Liye” proposed by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The winners were awarded with cash prize and certificates. Each participant was awarded with a symbolic prize money for partaking in the campaign.
The objective of the activity is to create an awareness of the importance of voting for the larger good of the nation. The essay competition as part of the campaign symbolizes the festive importance of Election and the pride of voting for oneself and for the future generation in the largest democracy in the world.
