Sports is one of the most popular forms of venting out pent up energy. It is also a platform that provides a break from the academics. It is not only a physical fitness exercise but allows students to benefit from social as well as psychological benefits too.

Sports at Wangkhao acts as an alternative method to develop an individual’s self-esteem and confidence. A high-five after a good game or just a pat on the back can help build confidence. Sports is also equated with high energy and emotions and acts as a channel to control negative stress and emotions. Through sports, students also learn to interact with one another as a team to realize their goals.

The college boasts of a football field where the annual Sports Week is conducted. Several activities such as track and field, volley and the  most popular, football, is played out enthusiastically. The college also provides facilities such as table-tennis and badminton to keep students engaged in their non-class periods.

All students are divided into 4 Houses or Teams:

  1. Yangmon
  2. Tapi
  3. Tehok
  4. Tenang

All students are assigned their respective Houses at the time of admission by the Admission Committee.
