The Departmental Seminar of Wangkhao Government College was held on September 2, 2023, at the Seminar Hall organized by the Department of History. The talk was moderated by Mr. W Wangjin, Asst. Professor and attended by faculty members and History Honours students from the fifth semester. Mr. Honjem Konyak, Asst. Professor delivered a talk on the paper titled “Conversing between Oral Narratives and Archaeology: A Multi-disciplinary Approach.” The paper aimed to explore the discussions that have arisen with the application of multi-disciplinary approaches to the study of archaeology in Northeast India (NEI), specifically focusing on the nature and relationship between oral narratives and archaeology, as well as evaluating studies centered on ancestral sites in Nagaland.
