Ceremonial flag hoisting was conducted at 6:15 AM at Wangkhao Government College, Mon with Dr. Chandrasekharan, Principal, faculty and students representatives of the College.
Wangkhao Government College participated in the 76th Independence Day Celebrations at Local Ground, Mon Town on 15th August, 2022. The College participated in the following:
- Comperes: Smti. Tolivi H. Sumi, Asst. Prof, Department of Economics
Shri. Manwang Konyak, Asst. Prof, Department of Economics
- March Past Contingent: An all boys March Past Contingent from Wangkhao Government College participated in the 15th August, 2022 Independence Day Celebrations at the Local Ground, Mon Town. Members comprised of students from all semesters and were 30 (thirty) in total.
- Patriotic Song Presentation: To ring in the fervour of independence, the College also presented a patriotic song, Maa Tujhe Salaam by AR Rahman at the 15th August 2022 celebrations, Local Ground, Mon Town. A total of 38 students (boys and girls) participated in this special number presentation.
