A departmental field trip to Longwa was conducted by the Department of History with its 6th semester History Honours students. The field trip was to enable students to apply concepts and theories studied under HIS 603A: Historiography and HIS 602: Political History of the Nagas.
Students tackled the basic concepts behind the nature of History and the subject matter of History. Keeping in mind the deep-rooted nature of the discipline of History students were made to utilize the ideas and concepts learnt and apply it to local history. The best report was printed in the college magazine 2020 and was written by Yathap Konyak and Yongang Konyak.
Faculty members that attended the activity were: Esther P Konyak, W Wangjin, TA Kikon, Abel Swu. All History Honours students of 6th semester were made to compulsorily attend the said activity.
